Build a glyph
When you select a glyph, your elements can be dragged and dropped into the glyph view. If you still see the icon of the application, this means no glyph has been selected so nothing can be dragged and dropped. It is possible to drag multiple elements at once.
Now these elements can be moved around, scaled and rotated. When holding shift whilst doing so, something special will happen:). The scaling will be uniform and the rotation will be on 45°. By holding shift you can select multiple elements.
You can also use copy-paste to copy the selected elements from one glyph to another or to itself off-course.
Adjusting the spacing of the selected glyph can easily be done by dragging the left or right margin value.
zooming with the "z" and "x" key
moving the drawingarea with the "spacebar"
all kinds of delete keys will obviously delete the selected points or element(s).
If you enable Magnetic, Font Constructor will guide you whilst moving an element. It will snap to the closest point of a nearby element. You can set the maximum distance from where the alignment must start.
